Cane Webbing

Cane is the outer skin or bark of the Rattan Vine, a climbing palm from the jungles of South East Asia. It is made by weaving strong flexible rattan yarns (chair-cane) together making it pliable and durable and can support the weight of a sitting person. Traditional and modern patterns are available. It adds a beauty to Wicker furniture of modern design with a touch of elegance in antique style.
It has many decorative uses including seating, radiator grilles, furniture infill’s, upholstery material and decorative framework.
It is 24” (610mm) wide and sold by the running meter. I.e a quantity of 2 would equate to 2m x 610mm.
